OUR ORIGIN
A place with its own identity
The vineyard of La Font de Jui is the origin of the entire project. A specific landscape, certain natural conditions, and a way of understanding the relationship between the land and wine.
Vineyard located within the area of La Pedra Blanca, in the municipality of Subirats, Alt Penedès. Known as La Font de Jui, it covers an area of eleven and a half hectares, with gentle slopes and a deep, well-drained, calcareous, clay-loam soil.
Varieties chosen for location
Planted with the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir varieties, low-yielding French clones. There is also a plot dedicated to the Vermentino variety.
A look to the future
Having recently been approved for planting in Catalonia, we already had an experimental plot, always looking for those varieties that best adapt to our climate.
A Mediterranean variety very well adapted to warm climates, Vermentino would partially compensate for the drawbacks of global warming. We have placed great hopes in it because of the wines it can produce: complex and with a magnificent acidity.
